Antworks Ant Farm, a high tech, low maintenace ant farm


This amazing ant farm concept was first developed by the NASA Space Agency so that ants could be studied and to see how they could tunnel in zero gravity.

Well, Antworks have taken on this idea and made this space age habitat available for all of us non-astronaughts!

One of the great benefits of this ant farm of course, is that you can always see your ants at work because the beautiful blue gel is transluscent. This gel has another amazing benefit too, it contains all the nutrients and water that the ants will ever need so you don't have to feed them or water them!! Of course this makes it a great kid's ant farm!

As well as the tough acrylic antquarium, you also get a magnifying glass for closer abservation, and a zoom lense for an even closer look. You also get an ant something to catch ants with. Ant if you do not wish to, or cannot find any ants, they even put information in the instructions on where to purchase ants online.

ANTWORKS ILLUMINATED

As if If that wasn't cool enough, Antworks have also come up with an illuminated version!

Antworks Illuminated has a great additional feature, LED lights underneath that light it up making it a unique, one of a kind night light.





ANTWORKS TUNNELVISION

Antworks also produce a version of the ant habitat called TunnelVision.

This allows you to join many of the modules together to create a chain of linked habitats! This is really great if you want to see the development of your ants progress over a larger area.
